JINC

JINC - Partnership for equal opportunities

Saint-Gobain is a proud partner of the non-profit organization JINC!

Every child has talent — including the more than 600,000 children in the Netherlands who grow up in environments with high unemployment and few role models. That’s why JINC is committed to building a society where your background does not determine your future. A Netherlands in which every child is given a fair chance.

To achieve this, JINC supports primary, pre-vocational secondary (VMBO), and vocational (MBO) students in getting a good start on the labor market. Through the JINC program, they are introduced to a variety of professions, discover which jobs match their talents, and learn how to apply for a job. Thanks to JINC, more than 87,000 students from primary schools, VMBO, and MBO institutions get the opportunity to grow each year.

JINC runs its programs in collaboration with schools and over 800 partners from the business community. Since February 2024, Saint-Gobain Benelux has been contributing financially to make JINC’s projects possible and has made employees available to volunteer as trainers or coaches. Experience shows that fresh perspectives can be powerful, and that the expertise of professionals inspires young people. And we get something valuable in return: the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and to invest in our own organization. This strengthens our connection with society and offers participating employees an inspiring experience.
