History of the brand
Gyproc® was established in 1957 as the first plasterboard manufacturer in the Benelux with a factory in Wijnegem (Belgium). In 1971, the Gyproc® brand name was registered in the Benelux. In 2003, all activities moved to a new production site in Kallo (in the port of Antwerp). Out of Kallo, we distribute gypsum boards, gypsum plasters and a range of related products and accessories.
In 2005, Gyproc® became part of the French company Saint-Gobain, world leader in lightweight and sustainable construction. And also the world's largest supplier of building materials. Gyproc® is the Benelux market leader in gypsum systems. We provide innovative, high-quality and sustainable solutions for stud walls, ceilings and floors.
Activity
We develop sustainable plaster solutions, with both people and the planet in mind. From contractors to architects, installers to end users, we strive to increase the ease of use of our solutions and make indoor environments more comfortable and safe. Because our planet’s health is as important as our own, we reduce the environmental impact of buildings. We do this partly by focusing on reuse and recycling.
