History of the brand
Norton Abrasives began in the mid-19th century in Worcester, where seven entrepreneurs bought the patent for a grinding wheel from Frank Norton and founded Norton Company. The company grew rapidly and was acquired by Saint-Gobain in 1990, leading to further global expansion. Today, Norton offers a wide range of innovative abrasives that meet the requirements of various markets.

RazorStar®
Norton RazorStar® offers unparalleled grinding performance thanks to its specially shaped ceramic grains. Unlike other formed grains, the RazorStar® grains are formed by the coming together of two linear areas that create razor-sharp points.
The high grain count per surface, together with the top layer and the sturdy carrier, ensure that the grains are well retained and break self-sharpening. This maintains powerful grinding performance over extended periods of time, even in high-pressure applications.
