History of the brand
After the merger of two family businesses, Weber & Broutin was founded in 1927. The company focused on gypsum and lime-based plasters for exterior façades. After World War II, it expanded into the renovation market and, in 1982, turned its attention to the European markets, leading to its integration into the Saint-Gobain Group in 1996. In 2008, the product range was further expanded with the acquisition of Beamix (founded in 1965), a well-established name in dry mortars for concrete, façades, and flooring.
